Meet chelsey

Chelsey Crawley is the Founder and CEO of The Cage, built on a vision to develop athletes the right way, through proper fundamentals, intentional progression, and a deep understanding of the game. With a passion for teaching and years of experience in player development, Chelsey has created more than a training facility. She’s built a culture centered on confidence, discipline, and growth.

Her coaching philosophy goes beyond mechanics. Chelsey is committed to developing complete athletes by strengthening hitting fundamentals, defensive precision, mental toughness, leadership, and communication skills. She believes in teaching the “why” behind every drill so athletes not only improve their performance, but truly understand the game.

Chelsey’s heart for mentorship and excellence continues to shape The Cage into a place where athletes are challenged, supported, and believed in.

What Sets Us Apart

Intentional Progression — Not Just Reps

At The Cage, athletes don’t just “get swings” or “take ground balls.” Every session follows a purposeful progression rooted in proper fundamentals on both offense and defense.

We Teach the “Why”

Understanding creates confidence. Our athletes learn why mechanics matter, why certain adjustments are made, and how their movements connect to performance. When athletes understand the reasoning behind their training, they become smarter players, make better in-game decisions, and develop independence in their growth.

Complete Athlete Development

We develop more than skills, we develop people.

Along with building strong offensive and defensive foundations, we intentionally grow confidence, mental toughness, leadership, and communication skills.

We believe in every athlete who walks through our doors, no matter their age, experience, or skill level. Whether an athlete is just beginning their journey or preparing for the next level, they are coached with the same attention, purpose, and belief in their potential.

Because when athletes feel believed in, they begin to believe in themselves, and that’s when real growth happens.
